The Practice

Rebuilding Health

Dr Rachel works with people who are ready to uncover the true causes behind their digestive, metabolic, and nervous system challenges.

Her approach is holistic, science-based, and deeply personalised.
It looks beyond surface symptoms to explore how your genetics, environment, and daily habits interact - influencing everything from your stress response and circadian rhythm to cellular and gut health.

Toxic exposures, nutrient status, and detoxification pathways are also considered, because every piece of your biology matters.

This is not about managing symptoms.

It’s about restoring balance - using cutting-edge functional medicine and quantum biology knowledge to support your body’s natural ability to repair and regenerate.

Dr Rachel is a Functional Medicine Practitioner, Metabolic Health Expert, and Board Certified in Applied Quantum Biology.

She believes that when you create the right internal and external conditions, the body knows exactly how to heal.

Redefining What True Healing Looks Like

Dr Rachel qualified in Medicine from the University of Edinburgh in 2003.
With over two decades of clinical experience, she brings a unique blend of medical expertise, functional medicine insight, and quantum biology to her work.

She has a particular passion for helping people recover from gut-related, autoimmune, and gut–brain–axis disorders -the often-overlooked link between digestion, metabolism, and cellular health.

Her philosophy is simple: the body must be understood as a whole.
Every symptom has a story, and true healing starts when you uncover why the imbalance exists in the first place.

Through a bespoke, root-cause approach, Dr Rachel helps you restore balance, resilience, and optimal function - so you can overcome brain fog, fatigue, inflammation, and autoimmune symptoms at their source.

Together, you’ll design a plan that fits your biology, your lifestyle, and your goals - empowering you to regain mental clarity, stable energy, and a body that finally works with you, not against you.

Dr Rachel also holds a Master’s degree in Medical Law and Ethics from the University of Edinburgh (2012).

She is a strong advocate for informed consent and believes doctors should act as educators — providing the knowledge and clarity people need to make confident choices about their health.

She is a member of the British Society for Ecological Medicine and a Nutrition Network Advisor, having trained in Ketogenic Metabolic Therapy with Dr Georgia Ede and Professor Tim Noakes.

Conditions Dr Rachel Commonly Works With

Dr Rachel helps health-conscious individuals who want to understand why their health has changed - and how to restore it.

She investigates and educates clients dealing with:

Digestive and Gut Health Issues
Inflammatory bowel conditions, IBS, bloating, food sensitivities, and gut dysbiosis.

Cognitive and Energy-Related Issues

Brain fog, fatigue, burnout, poor focus, sleep disruption, and mood changes linked to the gut–brain axis.

Immune and Inflammatory Conditions
Autoimmune symptoms, MCAS, histamine intolerance, mycotoxicosis, and POTS.

These symptoms often trace back to the same root drivers  - disrupted mitochondrial function, chronic inflammation, low redox balance, toxin exposure, nutrient deficiencies, circadian disruption, and nervous system dysregulation.

Medications can temporarily relieve symptoms, but they don’t correct the underlying dysfunction.

Dr Rachel’s work focuses on identifying and reversing the true causes - restoring balance, energy, and clarity at the cellular level.

Her approach is comprehensive, evidence-based, and deeply personalised - with the ability to help you build a strong foundation for future wellness and optimal health.
